Delicious Ideas for Maharishi Honey
1. Cheese Dip with Fresh Fruits
2 tablespoons Maharishi honey
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup cream or milk
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg or mace
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup diced toasted almonds
Blend together all ingredients except almonds. Chill. When ready to serve place dip in small bowl. Top with almonds. Place bowl on plate and surround with assorted fruits such as banana slices, melon cubes, grapes, strawberries and peach or nectarine slices.
2. Fall Fruit Salad
2 apples, cored and diced
2 bananas, halved lengthwise, cut into 1-inch pieces
12 dried apricots, quartered
4 pitted prunes, quartered
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup plain yogurt or dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons Maharishi Honey
1-1/2 tablespoons orange juice or apple juice
Nutmeg, dash
Combine fruits in a medium bowl. Blend yogurt with honey, nutmeg and juice to taste. Gently stir into fruit. Cover and chill thoroughly.
3. Fresh Citrus Dressing
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon Maharishi Honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons orange peel, grated
Dash pepper
Combine all ingredients. Whisk before serving.
4. Yogurt–Maharishi Honey Dressing
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon Maharishi Honey
2 tablespoons orange juice or pineapple juice
Combine all ingredients; whisk together to blend. Stir before serving.
5. Energy drink
150 ml (~5 oz ) orange juice
150 ml (~5 oz ) natural yoghurt
30 ml (2 tablespoons) Maharishi Honey
6. Maharishi Honey Raisin Nibbles
1 cup seedless raisins
1/4 cup Maharishi Honey
1-1/2 cups smooth or chunky almond butter (or any nut butter)
1 cup flaked coconut
Mix raisins, honey and almond butter. Drop by small teaspoonfuls into coconut, rolling until coated. Place on waxed paper and refrigerate several hours. Serving size 4 balls.
7. Creamy Maharishi Honey Walnut Sauce
1/2 cup Maharishi Honey
3 tablespoons cream
1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
In small bowl, combine honey and cream; mix until well blended. Stir in walnuts. Store sauce in airtight container in refrigerator.
8. Maharishi Honey Lemon Thirst Quencher
1/2 cup Maharishi honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
7-1/2 cups water
Combine ingredients.
9. Mango Lassi
This is a delicious and refreshing mango drink. Experiment with fresh strawberries or pineapple in place of the mango.
1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped
4 tablespoons Maharishi Honey
3 cups water
1 cup plain yogurt
Combine mango, water, yogurt and honey in blender or food processor; blend until smooth. Pour lassi into glasses. Serve immediately.
10. Pear-Yogurt Shake
16 oz pears
1 cup plain yogurt
1 banana, peeled
2 tablespoons Maharishi Honey
Dash ground nutmeg
Combine pears with juice, yogurt, banana, ice and honey in blender or food processor; blend until smooth. Pour shake into chilled glasses. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve immediately.
11. Sweet Summer Fruit Smoothie
8 oz yogurt
1-1/2 cups peeled, sliced ripe peaches, nectarines or other fruits
2 tablespoons Maharishi Honey
1/4 cup wheat germ
Place all ingredients in blender container; cover. Blend or process on high speed about 1 minute or until smooth. Pour smoothie into 2 glasses and, if desired, sprinkle with additional wheat germ.
